This is perhaps the most beautiful of all nudibranchs I have encountered so far in Florida. I have observed the Harlequin Blue Sea Goddess nudibranch feeding on dark purple encrusting sponges while I was muck diving. Its bright coloration signals to other animals that this nudibranch is distasteful.
